This project is a joint university (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University) effort to develop and implement a Web-based system to collect students' evaluation of teaching on a large scale in local Higher Education Institutes.  It is a sub-project of the University Grant Committee funded project - "Evaluation of Student Experience Project - implementation".

Dr. Mavis Kelly, formely head of the Instructional Development Unit of HKUST, is the chief investigator of phase one of the current project.   It was mainly due to her effort that COSSET is made possible.

The investigators in this project included Mr. Tak S. Ha (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), Mr. Jonathon Marsh (University of Hong Kong) and Dr. John Jones (Hong Kong Polytechnic University).

We would also like to thank the School of Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and in particular Dr. Helen Shen, the associate Dean, for their support of the development and trial of COSSET.
